“And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me. And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?”

-Acts 22:6-7 KJV

It’s always amazing what can happen when you’re least expecting it. Saul (later renamed to Paul, the Apostle) was on his way to Damascus to kill Christians. He thought he had sanction from God, which made it okay to do so. However, while on the road, Jesus stepped in and changed all of his plans.

See, God had big plans for Paul. He took a broken man, who was FAR from perfect, and made him into the greatest evangelist that ever lived.

That is why I have teamed up with Joseph Smith, of The Baptist Bee and Barbarian Rhetoric, to bring you:

The Damascus Road.

Joseph and I are both Christians. We are not perfect, and we’ve never claimed to be. We just try our best to do the things that God wants us to do.

We have had some great discussions on Twitter and have decided to take those discussions to podcast form. This podcast will be available on all platforms and will be released once weekly, every Friday.

If you have any questions that you would like addressed on the show, feel free to send them our way. @Kyle_Moonlight and @JDManly18
